This unique console table was created using timber felled by a client who wanted to use it for something very special. I worked the table into a contemporary organic form with legs designed to mimic the woodland copse that the original beech tree was felled from.
I worked with the client from the moment the timber was felled, advising on milling and drying. Then began the process of design and construction after several years, once the timber had been air dried sufficiently to begin making.
