Devon Furniture Makers member Jon Getz is exhibiting this beautiful hand made oak chair at Gidleigh Village Hall on Dartmoor along with work by 17 other artists and makers.
The event is part of this Autumn’s Devon Open Studios which runs throughout Devon until Sunday 25th September 2016.
Jon tells us that the chair is an updated take on an original design by Gustav Stickley, an early 20th Century maker of the Chicago School, part of the American Craftsman movement.
Gidleigh Village Hall is listed as Venue No. 61 in the Devon Open Studios catalogue and the venue is well signposted from Chagford and Whiddon Down on Dartmoor.
